Edward Holleman, age 83, of Cedar Lake, IN, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020.  Loving father of Donna (late Richard) Rote, Christine (late David) Stone, Sandra (late James) Roller.  Proud grandfather of Andy (Kate), Jeremy, Christian, and Kade Stone, and Alex Roller. Dear brother of the late Anna (late John) Zandstra, late Bertha (late Nelson) Van Milligan, Gertrude (late Laurence) Scheeringa, late Viola Holleman, late Gerrit (Elaine) Holleman, late Wilma (Raymond) Veenstra, John (Christine) Holleman, late Egbert “June” (Carroll) Holleman.  Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Holleman was a Korean War Army Veteran.  He was a truck driver mainly in the steel industry but hauled many things from corn to tuxedos.  He also formerly owned and operated a carpet cleaning franchise.

Visitation, Tuesday, June 9, 2020 from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 P.M. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Ln. Dyer, IN, with Rev. Nathan Langerak officiating.
