Sara Marie McLean , nee Vulcano, age 80, of Tucson, AZ, formerly of Thornton, IL, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023.  Her beloved husband of 60 years, Edward William McLean , age 81, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023. Loving parents of Richard McLean and Dennis (Helene) McLean.  Cherished grandparents of Rachel McLean.  Sara was the sister of the late Florence (late Henry “Bud”) Brunette, late Leonard Vulcano, and sister-in-law of the late Bunnie Vulcano.  Edward was the brother of Thomas (Georgiann) McLean and the late Maryanne McLean. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.  Edward was a United States Army Veteran.  Sara and Edward were loved by many and will be dearly missed.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. with a memorial service to be held at 4:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN.
