Eileen De Maio

Eileen R. DeMaio, 85, of Momence, died Tuesday (Jan. 20, 2009) in Manteno. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Momence Funeral Chapel, with a 7 p.m. funeral service. Chaplain Craig Crombar will officiate. A private burial will be held.Mrs. DeMaio was born June 22, 1923, in Indianapolis, Ind., the daughter of Walter and Lura Clark Harder. Her first husband, Chester A. Mashek, died in 1975. She then married Peter DeMaio. He died in 1992. Surviving are four sons and three daughters-in-law, Ronald and Linda Mashek of Manteno, Larry Mashek of Virginia Beach, Va., David and Wendy Mashek of Beecher, Paul and Laurie Mashek of New Lenox; two daughters and one son-in-law, Janice and Ronald Blank, and Donna Davis, all of Grant Park; 17 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.Two sisters and one brother are deceased.Please sign her guestbook at smitsfuneralhomes.com
