Elaine H. Heber

Elaine H. Heber, nee Martens, age 75, of Dyer, IN, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 23 2023.  Loving wife of the late John W. Heber III. Devoted mother of John (Sheri) Heber and Dave (Lisa) Heber.  Proud grandma of Kayla, Ashley, Emily, Wyatt, Tyler, and Amber; great-grandma of Nevaeh, Avery, and soon to be born baby girl.  Dearest sister of Sharon (Jim) Trotier, Chuck (LeAnne) Martens, and Lee (Peggy) Martens.  Dear sister-in-law of Ken (Ros) Heber.  Kind aunt of several nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her parents Harold and Blanche Martens.

Visitation Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. with a funeral service to be held at 5:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home James E. Janusz Director, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.), Dyer, IN, with Deacon Jim Renwick officiating.
