Elaine R. Ogdon

Elaine R. Ogdon nee Flickinger, age 85, of Steger, IL, passed away peacefully January 4, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Ogdon Sr. Loving mother of Kathleen (Ralph) Shutts, Jeffrey Ogdon and Robert (Mary) Ogdon Jr. Cherished grandmother of J.R. (Betsey) Shutts, Melissa (Austin) Greathouse, Megan (Eric Hunckler) Shutts, Nicole Shutts and Matthew (Ashley) Gocal and great-grandmother of Chase Maher, Harleigh Gocal and Sawyer Gocal. Dear sister of Carol Hogeveen. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her siblings Marion Owen, Willard Flickinger, Marjorie Hall and her parents Meta and William Flickinger.  Elaine will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation to be held Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Smits - Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL 60475.
