Elaine M. Ooms nee Schmitt, age 89, of Crete, Illinois, passed away peacefully November 1, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Eugene Ooms. Loving mother of Bonnie (Mario Migliorati) Ooms, Cheryl (Joel) Pohrte, Kevin (Alice) Ooms and Terry (Brenda) Ooms. Cherished grandmother of twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Dear sister of Alvin (Nina) Schmitt, Sandy Wilson, Judy (Dennis) McFadden, Wayne (Rosella) Schmitt, Linda (Joseph) Bullaro and the late Shirley Forsythe.
