Elizabeth “Betty” J. Scampini, nee Nowak, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022. Beloved wife to the late Mario Scampini. Loving mother to Jerry (Mary) Scampini, Richard (Suzanne) Scampini, and Sandi (Bill) Smigel. Cherished grandmother to Samantha (Charles) Lassiter, Michael Scampini, Richard (Amanda) Scampini, Alison (James) Hart, Daniel Smigel and Dylan Smigel. Proud great grandmother to Casey Lassiter, Christopher Lassiter, Carina Lassiter, Eden Hart, Norma Scampini, and Italo Scampini. Devoted sister to Mary Ann Nowak, the late Emily Nowak, the late Stella Bijak, the late Adam Nowak, and the late Alex Nowak. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial visitation will be held Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 5:00 p.m. at Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd., Steger, IL.
