Eluteria Rivera

Eluteria Rivera (nee Hernández) of South Chicago Heights, devoted wife of Antonio Rivera, passed away July 12, 2017. Mrs. Rivera is survived by her daughter Teresa (Pascual) Velázquez; sons Santos (Suleyma) Rivera, Antonio (Alicia) Rivera, Andres (Pam) Rivera, Ricardo (Mary Ann) Rivera and Rene Rivera; her brother Guadalupe “Lupe” (Laura) Hernández; sisters-in-law Isabel Hernández and Eva Hernández; six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rivera is preceded in death by her infant son Jose; parents Apolonio and Paula (Herrera) Hernández; Domingo “Mingo” Hernández, Leonor “Nina” (Josefa) Hernández, Pedro “Pira” Hernández, Sarita Hernández, Berta (Refugio) Cavazos, Santos (Aurora) Hernández, Basilio “ Chilo” Hernández. Visitation will be Friday, July 21, 2017 from 9am until time of memorial service at 12 noon at Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Road Steger, IL 60475.
