Elva D. Blackwell, age 91, of South Chicago Heights, IL passed away peacefully, May 28, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Calvin Blackwell for over 50 years; loving mother of Bill (Nancy) Blackwell, Cathy (Adnan) Zorba and Sharon Blackwell; adoring grandmother of Kari, Matthew, and Andrew; cherished great-grandmother of Zaina, the late Katarina, Gianna, Hunter and Ava. Elva will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation Friday, June 1, 2018 from 8:00 am until 10:30 am at Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Road Steger, IL 60475.
