Elvia Rodriguez, age 81, of Steger, Illinois, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 14, 2025. Loving mother of Rosemary (late Lon) Gonzalez, Richard (Betty) Velez, the late Lourdes Rodriguez, the late Maria (Andres) Betancourt and Alicia (John Pacelli) Arredondo. Cherished grandmother of Erik, Richey, Andy Jr., Jennifer, Chico, Carlos, Monica, Sara and Maria and great-grandmother of 19 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Angie Lopez. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Manuela and Crispin Villarreal and 5 of her siblings. Elvia will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
