Emilio Valdez Sr., age 79 of Chicago Heights, IL. ,passed away June 17, 2008. Beloved Husband of Guadalupe Valdez, loving father of Irene Martinez, Emma Valdez, Joe Valdez, Delia (Octavio) Rodriguez, Albert, Diane, and Victor Valdez of Chicago Heights, IL. Dear grandfather of eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Emilio was preceded in death by three children: Emilio Jr., Gloria, and Celia. Visitation Friday June 20th from 8:30 a.m. till 10:00 a.m. at Smits Funeral Homes- Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, Il. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church (1501 Chicago Rd. Chicago Heights,IL.). Interment Assumption Cemetery " Glenwood, IL.
