Ernest G. "Ernie" Medema

Ernest G. Medema, age 81, of Hudsonville, MI, formerly of Lynwood, IL, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, July 25, 2016. Beloved husband of Helen Medema, nee Flikkema and the late Grace Medema, nee Ipema. Loving father of Thomas (Brenda) Medema, Peter (Karen) Medema, Nancy Medema, Ralph (Jennifer) Medema, Matthew (Stephanie) Medema, Kimberly (David) Moore and Scott Medema. Devoted grandfather of 27 grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Phyllis(late Ben) Groenewold. Visitation, Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 3:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Crete Protestant Reformed Church (1777 E. Richton Rd., Crete, IL). Funeral Service, Friday, July 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Crete Protestant Reformed Church with services conducted by Rev. David Overway. A burial will take place prior to the service at 9:30 a.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery – Lansing, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to Heritage Christian High School / Protestant Reformed Christian School General Fund.
