Erwin Filewicz, age 85, of Schererville, IN passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2012. Beloved husband of Frances Filewicz nee Groszek. Dear father of Karen (Dennis) Johnson, and Cheryl (Lee) Talac. Proud grandfather of Amy Malavolta, Kristina Miller, Angela Harper, Jonathan Talac, and Christopher Talac; Great-grandfather of Kailee, Madison, and Kassidy Miller and Arielle, Alessandra, Noah and Ayden Malavolta. Cherished brother of Eugene (Terry) Filewicz. Preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Victoria Filewicz, and sister Dolores Filewicz. Brother-in-law of four. Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
