Eugene "Champ" George Fazzini Jr.

Eugene George Fazzini Jr. “Champ”, age 73, of Schererville, Indiana, formerly of South Chicago Heights, IL passed away Friday, January 26, 2024. Beloved fiancé of Pamela Rogacki. Loving cousin and friend to many. Dear son of the late Eugene George Sr. and Edith Angellotti – Fazzini. Champ retired from the South Chicago Heights Police Department as Deputy Chief, after 32 years of honorable service. He was also a proud member of the South Suburban Association Chiefs of Police. Champ will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation to be held Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 3:00 – 8:00 pm at Smits - Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd Steger, IL. Funeral Friday, February 2, 2024, 10:00 am at Steger Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery – Steger.
