Eugene Ralph Wieringa

Eugene Ralph Wieringa, age 84, of Steger, Illinois, passed away peacefully June 24, 2018. Beloved husband of 64 years to Marilyn Ann Wieringa. Loving father of Denise Wieringa-Roak, Dirk (Linda) Wieringa and Dany (Marla) Wieringa. Cherished grandfather of nine; great-grandfather of three. Dear brother of Samuel (Audrey) Wieringa, Eileen (late Roger) Genzler and the late Dorothy (late Carl) Lundell. Proud uncle of many nieces and nephews. Eugene was a proud Army veteran. He retired from Northern Illinois Gas after 43 years of service. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation, Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until time of funeral service 6:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Homes – Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd., Steger, IL. Interment Friday, June 29, 2018 10:00 a.m. directly at Skyline Memorial Park – Monee, IL.
