Evelyn Jean Parker nee Schoenwald, age 85, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 3, 2014. Beloved wife of the late John Allen Parker. Loving mother of Ronald A. (Judy) Parker, John A. (Wendy) Parker Jr., Terri L. (Rodney) Enayati-Hunter and James A. (Lori) Parker. Cherished grandmother of Randy (Melissa) Parker, Heather Parker, Jason Parker, Jonathan (Kristine) Parker, Megan Parker, Hassan (Samantha) Enayati, Lauren Enayati and Paige Parker. Cherished great grandmother of Emily, Sarah and Haley Parker and Jackson Enayati. Dear sister of the late Lois Hill. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; William and Alice Heldt-Schoenwald. Evelyn was born in Steger, IL and was raised in Beecher and Harvey, IL. She graduated from Thornton High School. Prior to marriage she worked at Spiegel and American Can Company in Chicago. Once married she worked side by side with her husband in establishing and operating two successful businesses; Allen Parker Concrete Construction and the development of Willow Brook Estates in Crete.
