Everett Lee Conner, age 88, of Crete, IL passed away December 23, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Frances Conner. Loving father of Donna (Douglas) Peterson, Everett A. (Susan) Conner, Thomas (Kathy) Conner, Delores (Charles) Brown and Sam (Dolores) DAmico. Cherished grandfather of eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Visitation Tuesday December 28th from 3:00 -8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Homes- Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Road). Funeral Wednesday 10:00 a.m. at Steger Memorial Chapel. Interment at Skyline Memorial Park " Monee, IL. Everett retired from Ford Stamping plant as a Carpenter. He was a WWII Navy Veteran who served as a torpedo man first class in the Pacific region.
