Everett James Landman

Everett James “Jim” Landman, age 83, of St. John, IN, formerly of Dowagiac, MI, went home to his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. Beloved husband of Lillian Landman, nee Trenning.  Loving father of James (Debbie) Landman, Deborah (Keith Sheffer) Landman, and Kenneth (Susan) Landman.  Cherished grandfather of eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  Dear brother of William (late Joanne) Landman and the late Robert Landman.  Kind uncle of numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his parents Taco “Henry” and Mary Landman.  Jim and Lil were members of Napier Parkview Baptist Church in Benton Harbor. He had a passion for leading as many people as possible to Christ. Jim was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Visitation Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN, with services conducted by Rev. Dan Golladay.  Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South – Oak Lawn, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to Moody Bible Institute ( www.moody.edu ).
