Florence P. Piet, nee Balon, age 91, of Dyer, IN formerly of Dolton, IL, passed away peacefully Monday, September 19, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Barney R. Piet. Devoted mother of Bonnie (Ronald) Brow, Dan (Chris) Piet, and Raymond Piet. Proud grandmother of Allison Kroczek (Jeff Watson), Kimberly (Ryan) Odle, Carrianne (Todd) Jacobs, Brett, Sean, Thomas, and Ian Piet; cherished great-grandmother of Tyler Kroczek, Carson, Brogan, and Brennen Jacobs, and Makayla and Cayden Odle. Dear sister-in-law of Verne and Marnie Pietrowicz. Kind aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Teresa Balon.
