Frances S. Cicale

Frances S. Cicale, age 102, of South Chicago Heights, Illinois, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Loving mother of Carol (A. Charles) Gillie, Nancy (Thomas) Longini and Larry (Karen) Cicale. Cherished grandmother of 7 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 6 great-grandchildren. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony Cicale, her siblings Wanda Cortez, Helen DeFrank, Frank Byrski and Mary Deluca along with her grandson, Justin A. Gillie. Frances will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation to be held Monday, February 24, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Prayer Service at 11:00 a.m. at Smits – Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, Illinois 60475. Mass to follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Liborius Catholic Church, 71 W 35th St, Steger, IL 60475. Following the mass an Interment will be held at Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Liborius Catholic Church or the charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Smits – Steger Memorial Chapel.
