Francis "Frank" Henry Nondorf

Francis “Frank” Henry Nondorf, age 77, of Dyer, IN passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 13, 2026. Beloved husband of Donna Nondorf, nee Pearison. Loving father of Amy (Chris) Kinard, Lisa (Tom) Stidham, and Justin (Shelley) Nondorf. Devoted grandfather of Danielle Fitch, Ryan Dobkowski, Timothy Stidham, Lindsay Stidham, Lacey Stidham, Raelynne Nondorf and Easton Nondorf, and great-grandfather of Maggie Fitch. Dear brother-in-law of Linda Foster, Nancy Ragin (Rick Matlock), and Janis Grahovac. Uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Best friend of Dwayne Kocon. Preceded in death by his parents Henry and Pauline Nondorf.

Frank was an employee and crane operator at Munster Steel for 50 years. He was loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m., with a prayer service to be held at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Sluter officiating at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN. Visitation also on Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. directly at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN, with Rev. Leo Gajardo officiating. Interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens – Schererville, IN.
