Francis A.C. Schmitz

Francis A. Schmitz, age 76 of Lynwood, Illinois, passed away peacefully, February 28, 2018. Beloved husband of Patricia Schmitz (nee DeSalvo). Loving father of Ricky Schmitz, Judy Schmitz, John (Mary) Running, Jimmy Running, Rodney (Jody) Pruski, Sandy (Mike) Crowley, Kim (Scott) Stokes, late David and late Kenny Schmitz. Cherished grandfather of fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Dear brother of Judy (Elsworth) Philips and Barbara (Robert) Yanule. Francis was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, he was a member of the American Legion Post 697 and will dearly missed by all who knew him.
