Frank J. Bednarczyk, age 67, late of Schererville, IN, formerly of the Roseland neighborhood in Chicago, IL, passed away Monday, December 25, 2017. Beloved husband of Priscilla M. Bednarczyk, nee Lakomy. Dad of Matthew (Judy) Bednarczyk, Kimberly (Jeremy) Overholt, Kathleen, Mitchell, Martin, and Michael Bednarczyk. Grandpa of Michael Schubbe, Joseph Bednarczyk, Gabrielle, Chloe, and Mason Overholt; great-grandpa of Diana Schubbe; grandfather-in-law of Stephanie Rademacher. Brother of Richard. Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Jean Bednarczyk. Visitation Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane(Rt. 30 & Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN.
