Frank Ochoa Sr., age 86, of South Holland, IL, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015. Frank was born on June 4,1928 in McCook, NB. Frank was preceded in death by his loving wife Julia and he is survived by his loving children, Frank Ochoa Jr., Mario Ochoa, Debbie (Rick) Chandler and Augustine Ochoa. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren: Frank IV, David, Christopher, Christina Lara, Lauren, Augustine Jerome, Sarah Mureiko, Amber Chandler, Amy and Alexis Ochoa and Haley Chandler; 4 Great-grandchildren: Leah, Olivia, Angelina Lara and Nicolaus Ochoa and a brother, Peter Larios. He was preceded in death by his parents Salvador and Fidencia Martinez Uribe and by 2 Sisters Beatrice Guerrero and Tomasa Ruiz. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 7, 2015 from 3:00 till 8:00 p.m. Prayer service Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 9:15 a.m. from Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home 649 E. 162nd St. (Rt.6/159th St.) South Holland, IL 60473 to St. Florian Catholic Church (13145 S. Houston Ave. Chicago, IL) for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery - Calumet City, IL. Memorials to Alzheimers Assoc. appreciated. Frank is a Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Army.
