Frieda Devries

Frieda DeVries, nee Folkerts, age 97, of Chicago Heights, IL, formerly of Thornton, IL passed away Monday, July 16, 2018.  Beloved wife of the late Raymond DeVries. Loving mother of the late Corinne (late Don) DeYoung, Robert (Diane) DeVries, Diane Tramutolo, Raymond (Jan) DeVries, Jr. and Sharon (late Mato) Sencaj. Proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Dearest sister of Joan (late Thomas) Muller, and also preceded in death by siblings: John, Etta, Grace, Marie, Fred, Jeanette, and infant Johanna.  Kind aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. and Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 A.M. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, 649 E. 162 ^nd St. (Rt.6/159 ^th St.) South Holland, IL with Rev.
