Gail A. Scher

Gail A. Scher, nee Gunter, age 66, of Park Forest, IL passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022.  Beloved significant other of Guy Hampton.  Loving mother of Paul (Jennifer) Scher and Kirstie Scher; step-mother of Maurice Hampton.  Cherished grandmother of Bailey and Topanga Scher, Sarai and Sanaya Taylor, Jaiden, Makayla and Josiah Hampton, Cree and Kyi Hampton.  Daughter of Billy (late Frances) Gunter.  Dear sister of Ron (Toni) Gunter, Debby (Brad) Zander, and Daryl (Trisha) Gunter.  Kind aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her ex-husband Wayne Scher.  Gail was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Visitation Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel – 3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, IL.  Funeral service Friday, June 24, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  Interment Calvary Catholic Cemetery – Steger, IL.
