Garland H Stadt, age 86 of Steger, IL. passed away peacefully, June 24, 2018. Beloved husband of Carolyn Stadt nee Holtz; loving father of Gregory Stadt, David (Brenda) Stadt, Cynthia (Gerald) Maxwell, and Daniel (Cathleen) Stadt. Cherished grandfather of nine grandchildren and great-grandfather of three great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Marcella (Ray) Whitten and the late Dale (Barbara) Stadt; Garland was a proud US Army Veteran. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation Friday, June 29, 2018 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. at Smits-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Road Steger, Illinois. Funeral service to be held Saturday, June 30, 2018, 10:00 am at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 24 W. 34th Pl. Steger, IL 60475. Interment at Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Steger Illinois.
