He is survived by his son David (Karen) Berchem, his grandchildren Steve (Tricia) of Aurora, IL. and Kara of Terre Haute, IN. he is also survived by his brother Eddie Berchem of Steger and many nieces and nephews. Gerry was preceded in death by his wife Marion in 2002 and his daughter Doreen in 1963.
