Gary Michael Hakes, age 64, late of Peoria, AZ, formerly of South Holland, IL, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023. Beloved husband of Lindy Hakes, nee Ruffolo. Devoted father of the late JD Hakes.
Visitation Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN. Visitation Friday, August 25, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. directly at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN. Interment private.
