Gary J. Smits, age 65, of South Holland, IL, went home to his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 22, 2023. Loving father of Brandi Smits, Bree (Derrick) Beezhold, and Brooke (Tim) Miltzow. Devoted Pa of Lydia, Abram, and Felicity. Beloved Fiancé of Laureen Sallay and her children Jen (Jim) Gejiakowski, and Chris (Melissa) Sallay and Pa to Brantley, Harlynn, Tillie, and Damien. Cherished son of June Smits and the late Gerrit “Smitty” Smits. Dear brother of Terri (Dean) Lang and Larry (Laura) Smits. Gary was the owner of Carpenter’s Millwork Company, Inc. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
