LANGBARTELS Gene A. Langbartels, age 72, of Crete, IL. passed away March 30, 2009. Beloved father of Todd (Diana) Langbartels, cherished grandfather of Samuel and Alex. Dear brother of Wayne (Evelyn) and William (Theresa) Langbartels. Dearest friend of David and Lucy Dolci. Visitation Wednesday April 1st from 3:00 " 8:00 p.m. at the Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd. Steger). Funeral service Thursday 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
