General A. Stewart, age 78, of Beecher, IL passed away peacefully January 19, 2015. Beloved husband of Doris, nee Hood. Loving father of Sherry (Michael) Shelby and the late Gregory A. Stewart. Cherished grandfather of Kristy Stewart and Kyle Stewart and great-grandfather of Cameron, Emily, Alexia, and the late Brooklyn. Preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters. Visitation Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL.
