George J. Rice Sr., age 75, of Calumet City, IL, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 17, 2018. Loving husband of Leona M. Rice, nee Christie. Devoted father of Sherman Cromatie, George (Nicolet) Rice Jr., Latoya (Phil) Trotter, Monica Rice, Astaire (Amy) Rivers, Corey (Tiffany) Buchanan, and Shanadore Rice, and the late Lucille Rice. Visitation Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at First Reformed Church, 15924 South Park Ave. South Holland, IL, with Pastor Corey Buchanan, Eulogist and Dr. Kenneth Orr, Officiating.
