George F Sedlacek

George Sedlacek, age 85, of Crete, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 15, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Sedlacek and the late Bonnie Sedlacek. Loving father of Mary (John) Running, Mark (Katie) Sedlacek, Paul Sedlacek, Laura (John) Walton, the late Elizabeth (Don) Young,  Robert (Cindy) Krumwiede, Larry (Debbie) Krumwiede, Linda (Gary) Radavich, Ron (Joy) Krumwiede. Cherished grandfather of 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Gertrude Coppalello, Betty (Norm) HossBach, Jim (Joan) Heine. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. George was a proud United States Army Veteran. He retired after 41 years as an electrician for ComEd. George also was a former past chairman of the Steger Recreational Board.  He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.
