Georgia S. Spathis nee Fangras, age 94 of Beecher, Illinois, formerly of Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away peacefully, July 9, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Sam Spathis. Loving mother of Gregg (Jean) Spathis. Cherished grandmother of Kristen (Matthew) Monk and Spencer (Amanda) Spathis. Great grandmother of Arianna Monk and Samuel Spathis. Georgia formerly worked for US Steel, State Farm Insurance and Carson Pirie Scott. She was a former member of the Chicago Heights District 170 PTA and former member of the Assumption Women’s Society.
