Gerald A. Pekny, age 79, late of South Holland, IL, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018. Loving husband of Esperanza “Hope” Pekny, nee Rodriguez. Devoted father of Jeffrey (Maureen) Pekny, Leslie Pekny, Alan (Julie) Pekny, and Gregory (Jennifer) Pekny. Proud grandfather of 4. Dear brother of Joyce (Stephen) Forbes and Brian (Jackie) Pekny. Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Coretta Pekny.
