Gerald "Steve" Gutekunst

Gerald “Steve” Gutekunst, age 66, of Dyer, IN passed away Monday, November 19, 2018.  Beloved husband of Julie Gutekunst, nee Meyer.  Loving father of Steven (Jenny) Gutekunst, Carolyn (Joe) Perotta, Tina (Robert) Minor, Ryan (Kim) Gutekunst, and Justin Gutekunst and step father of Kim (Chad) Domke, Michelle Pass, and Amanda (Roy) Gutierrez.  Devoted grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 10 step-grandchildren.  Dear brother of Linda (Jeff) Thompson and the late Laura Gutekunst.  Preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Jacqueline Gutekunst.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane -Dyer, IN.
