Geraldine "Gerry" Sciarratti nee Alexander, 94, of Largo, Florida formerly of Steger, Illinois passed away peacefully April 20, 2016. Loving mother of Shelia (George) Blume and cherished grandmother of two grandchildren, Lisa Kay (David) Strunk and Heather (Alan) Blume. Two great grandchildren Zachary Allen Strunk and Quentin Benjamin Strunk. She is also mourned by her beloved companion of eight years, Charles Kersey. Gerry was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Alphonso Sciarratti and siblings; Edith "Pat" Carnahan, Wilma Tuttle, Eugene, Charles and Edwin Alexander. Visitation, Thursday April 28, 2016 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, Illinois.
