Watch video tribute Geraldine Seaman, 97, of Monee, IL, former resident of West Unity, Ohio passed away Saturday, March 10 in Monee, Illinois. The daughter of Clinton and Elizabeth (Reichardt) Ledyard of Alvordton, Ohio, Mrs. Seaman was married to Harry Seaman, who preceded her in death. She worked for many years at Superior Carbon in West Unity before moving to Illinois. She is survived by a daughter Rena Mae (Sam) Rhodes, of Monee, Illinois, two grandchildren, Linda Dillion of Danville, Indiana and Ronald Rhodes of Chicago, Illinois, two great grandchildren, Linda Jean Richardson and Jacqueline Richards, three great-great grandchildren, Carl, Jr., Kevin and Nathen Richardson, a sister, Virginia Spangler of Indianapolis, Indiana, several sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Steger Memorial Chapel, Steger, IL Tuesday, March 13 from 3 pm to 8 pm. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 14 at 1 pm at the Pioneer cemetery " Pioneer, IL.
