Gerrit Eylander

Gerrit Eylander, age 91, of South Holland, IL, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019.  Beloved husband of the late Barbara Eylander, nee Boersma. Loving father of Everett Eylander, Tim (Deb) Eylander, and Denise (Paul) Pollachek. Dear grandfather of Victoria, Kris, Rebecca, Amanda, Jacob, Jordan, Jared, and Jade and many great-grandchildren.  Dear brother of the late Thomas (late Gail) Eylander.  Preceded in death by his parents Everet and Alyda Eylander.   Visitation Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, 649 E. 162nd St. (Rt. 6/159th St.) South Holland, IL.  Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery - Elwood, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to Faith Church, Chicago Child Evangelism Fellowship or Grace College.
