Gil B Paris

Gil B. Paris of Manteno passed away peacefully on December 31, 2022, at home surrounded by family.  Gil was born to Gillie and Bettie Paris on November 4, 1937, in Harvey, Illinois. Beloved husband of Rita Lane; loving father of Tim Paris of Crete, Illinois, Jeff (Kim) Paris of Beecher, Illinois, and Connie (Russ) Vondrasek of Crown Point, Indiana.  Cherished papa to Jason (Leah) Paris, Chris (Theresa) Harding, Danny (Amber) Hyatte, Brian (Elaine) Hyatte, Tiffany Paris and seven great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Shirley (Tom) Pruett of Beecher, Illinois; Jimmy Paris of Barberton, Ohio; and Mary Ann Wojtysiak of Cumming, Georgia. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews, and dear cousins.  Gil is preceded in death by his first wife Paula, his parents, his brothers Vernon, Ancel, and William, and sisters Christine, Violet, and Gloria. Gil was a Teamster for over thirty years. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Visitation Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, IL 60475. Funeral Friday, January 6, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at Steger Memorial Chapel.
