Gladys Elizabeth Coleman nee Nichols, age 92 of Steger, IL, passed away peacefully January 7, 2015. Beloved wife of the late James Coleman. Loving mother of Leroy (LeAnne) Coleman, Kathleen (Larry) Hering and the late Richard (Phyllis) Coleman. Cherished grandmother of Richard (fiancé Marlene Johnson) Oehmke, Derek Oehmke, Heather (Eric) Johnson, Kelly Coleman and Jeff (Teri). Great grandmother of Kelly, Celeste, Amanda, Me''leah, Avry and Lucas. Dear sister of the late Orval, Edward, Evelyn, Lucille, Richard and Harold. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 3:00 - 8:00 P.M. Funeral service Thursday at 10:00 A.M. at the Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL 60475. Interment at Skyline Memorial Park - Monee, IL. Gladys was a member of the Steger VFW for over 70 Years.
