Gregg Sam Spathis

Gregg Sam Spathis, age 68, of Bourbonnais, Illinois, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025. Beloved husband of Jean Spathis nee Wagner. Loving father of Kristen (Matthew) Monk and Spencer (Amanda) Spathis. Cherished grandfather of Arianna Monk, Samuel Spathis and Olivia Spathis. Preceded in death by his parents Georgia and Sam G. Spathis. He was owner and operator of SWAATS Gun Shop in Manteno, Illinois and a Village Administrator for many villages in the area . Gregg will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation to be held Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits -Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Road Steger, IL 60475. Funeral Service to be held Friday, July 11, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Smits -Steger Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at Skyline Memorial Park, Monee, Illinois.
