Konstantinos “Gus” Katsenis, age 63, of Dyer, IN passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. Beloved husband of Nina Katsenis, nee Trehubchuk. Loving father of Frank and Dana Katsenis. Dear son of Fotios and the late Maria Katsenis. Fond brother of Vasilos Katsenis and the late George Katsenis. Dear son-in-law of Anna Trehubchuk and brother-in-law of Jerry (Mary) Rudowyj. Proud uncle of Michael (Alicia) Rudowyj and Nick (Kelly) Rudowyj and great-uncle to Katarina. Also survived by many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Visitation Friday, December 16, 2016 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN. Funeral service Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 300 E. Army Trail Rd. Bloomingdale, IL 60108 with Very Rev. Mitered Protopriest Victor Poliarny officiating. Interment at St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Church Cemetery.
