Harlan E. Peterson, age 74 of Beecher, IL. passed away October 1, 2011 Beloved husband of Jeannene Peterson nee Middleton. Loving father of Phillip (Teresa), Scott (Carla) and Daniel (Elizabeth) Peterson. Cherished grandfather of six. Dearest brother of Vernon (Paula), Arden (Kay), Keith Peterson, Lorraine (Dick) Cowger, and Marlene (Harry) Erickson. Visitation Wednesday October 5th from 2:00-9:00 p.m. at the Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL.) Funeral Service Thursday 11:00 a.m. directly at Trinity Lutheran Church in Crete. Inurnment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
