Harold R. Berchem age 77, of Steger IL. passed away October 9, 2006. Harold is survived by two daughters, Linda Berchem of Crete and Diane (Robert) Umland of Grant Park one grandson Jeffrey Umland and two brothers Edward Berchem and Garold Berchem both of Steger. Mr. Berchem was preceded in death by his wife Ruth in 1990. Visitation Thursday Oct. 12th from 3:00 " 8:00 p.m. Funeral Friday at Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd. Steger.)
