Harold J. DeVries, age 76, of St. John, IN formerly of South Holland, IL passed away Friday, December 26, 2014. Beloved husband of Mary Kay DeVries (nee Pomp). Loving father of Jill (John) Mance, Kim DeVries, and Michael (Jeannine) DeVries. Devoted grandfather of Eric, Joel, Carly, and Melanie. Dear brother of the late Roselle (George) Kegebein. Visitation Monday, December 29, 2014 from 2:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Faith Church (100 W. 81st Ave. Dyer, IN). Funeral Service Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Church with Rev. Bob Bouwer officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South - Worth, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (15255 S. 94th Ave. #400 Orland Park, IL). Mr. DeVries was a retired carpenter and a longtime employee of the Village of South Holland Public Works Department.
