Harold Kooyenga

Harold Kooyenga, age 90, of Dyer, IN, formerly of Lansing, IL, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 1, 2018. Beloved husband of Pearl E. Kooyenga, nee Ooms. Dearest father of Lawrence (LeAnn) Kooyenga, Nancy McSweeney, and Steven (Susie) Kooyenga. Proud grandpa of 9; great-grandpa of 13. Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Jacob and Alice Kooyenga, three brothers, and one sister.

Visitation Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service to be held at 6:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30 & Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN with Rev. Robert Newman officiating. Private interment Oak Ridge Cemetery – Lansing, IL.
