Harry Jabaay, age 87, of Munster, IN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 16, 2021. Loving husband of Marlene Jabaay, nee Van Heest. Devoted father of Diane (Larry) Disterheft, Karen (Jon) Gross, and Bryan (Olivia) Jabaay.  Proud grandfather of Nicholas Disterheft, Timothy (Brittany) Disterheft, Jessica (Skylar) Schwartz, Chris Disterheft, Cody Disterheft, Caitlin Disterheft, Leah (James) Scanlon, Hannah Gross, Sarah Gross, Bodhi Jabaay and Arlo Jabaay; great-grandfather of Cecelia, Harvey, Maeve, Clark, and Awan.  Dear brother of the late Floyd Jabaay, late Hazel Van Kley, late Roy Jabaay, late Cal Jabaay, and the late Ruth Thiel. Brother-in-law of Gary Van Heest, Cindy DeJong, Wilma DeVries, and Madge Aardema. Uncle of several nieces and nephews.  Harry was the owner of Illiana Electric for most of his adult life.  He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Visitation Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:30 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN, with Rev.
