Heather M. Gutierrez

Heather M. Gutierrez, nee Brown, age 40, of Lowell, Indiana passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.  Heather is survived by her husband, Antonio Gutierrez Sr.  Loving mother of Angelina, Marissa, Antonio, José Jr., and Leyla Gutierrez.  Dear sister of Heidi Brown and the late Perry Brown Jr.  Cherished aunt of Isaac Strong Brown, Valentina McSwain, Jonathan McSwain, Conner Brown, and Meara Brown.  Heather was preceded in death by her parents Perry Brown Sr., and Barbara Brown, and by her grandparents Valentino and Desser DeAngelo, and Udell and Louisa Brown.  Dear niece of many aunts and uncles.

Heather graduated from Olivet Nazarene University as a Registered Nurse (RN), and also attained her Master’s degree in nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).  Employed by Midwest Express Clinic, she was loved by many of her patients and coworkers. She had a loving spirit and gifted hands when it came to dealing with her patients, she was wholly committed to them, expressing a love and compassion that is often lacking in this world.  She was outgoing, she cared about others first before she cared about herself, and she had an unconditional love for her family.  Heather also loved to act goofy, silly, and crazy, and she exuded the light of Jesus to many who came across her path.  Although she now rests in peace, she will be dearly missed on this earth.  ~ Romans 6:8 “Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him.” ~
